Providing facilitated support groups to individuals and family members dealing with eating disorders is a key objective for EDSNA. We believe (and independent research confirms) that support is critical in helping people feel less alone, learn strategies, build hope and find resources to make informed decisions.
EDSNA has been awarded a three-year grant from the Ministry of Health, Addiction and Mental Health Branch, to provide group support programming in the province of Alberta. Thanks to this funding, we are able to hire professionals with extensive knowledge in eating disorders and keep our participant fees very low.
